Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, shit, crap, craaaaap! It was safe to say that Poppy was freaking out. Well, actually, that was an understatement. Filming had started a couple of days ago, and Poppy couldn't help but feel as though she was going to mess this up big time. Her scenes so far had been little ones which, although they weren't insignificant, didn't matter as much as the bigger scenes which Lucas and herself would be filming at the end of the week. In fact, Poppy had no more scenes until then. She couldn't quite believe it. She was acting alongside Lucas Murphy. And not only that, they were the leading parts. Surely this was some sort of mistake.
In that frame of mind, Poppy was on her way to Lucas' apartment in an attempt to rehearse their upcoming scene. She hadn't warned Lucas of her turning up at his place, which was probably a stupid idea. What if he was busy or something? He lived a busier lifestyle than she did. He was an international actor for crying out loud. Oh hell, he was probably going to be doing something important and she was going to walk in there and ruin whatever it was he was doing. Maybe she should just turn around and go back home... Surely one of her siblings could help her with this... But then again it wouldn't be right. It wasn't her acting that was the problem (or so she hoped). It was acting opposite Lucas that had put butterflies in her stomach. And now she was outside of his apartment, standing there like a right idiot. Should she knock? Or maybe just go home and call him first? Poppy just knock for God's sake... A voice in her head told her, it sounded a little peed off, so she decided to listen to it, knocking on the door three times. Well, here goes nothing...

Lucas, as he had been doing for his past few days off, sat on the balcony of his apartment reading his script. Filming on his latest movie had started this past week, but he had yet to do a big scene, just small bits here and there. His big scene came at the end of the week, along side the newcomer Poppy. Oh Poppy. Lucas wasn't all too sure what he thought of her yet, only meeting her at table reads so far, but... she was cute.
Getting up, Lucas walked inside to the kitchen, to fill his now empty coffee cup. Moving about the kitchen, Lucas heard a knock, more specifically three knocks, at the door. Opening it, Lucas saw Poppy standing there. "Oh, hi." He said, a bit taken back still, from Poppy standing at his door. If someone had given him the chance to guess who it would be, he would of never guessed Poppy.

Poppy saw a look of surprise on Lucas' face as he opened the door. He obviously hadn't been expecting to see her there, but as she didn't give him any warning that was hardly surprising. Poppy stood there for a split second, taking in his smolderness trying to remember that she really was standing opposite this actor who was at least ten times more famous than herself.
"Oh, hi." He greeted, if you could really call it that. Poppy's fears were confirmed - in her mind anyway - that she'd interrupted him while he was doing something more important than reading lines with her. "Oh God. You're busy right? I should've called first or something..."
Poppy was waffling, a simple 'hi' would've been enough. She was making a great first impression of herself. She needed to calm down or she was never going to get the scene right by the end of the week. Poppy took a deep breath, composing herself before she tried again. "Hi, sorry. I'm nervous." As if it wasn't already blatantly obvious. "Are you busy? I wanted to go over the scene we're doing at the end of the week." [/blockquote][/blockquote]
